I have worked for more than 20 years as a counselor and health educator for adults, children, and families. I first encountered neurofeedback in 2000, finding it more effective for my own health problems than either medications or talk therapy. I was so impressed with the results I experienced that I took the training to become a neurofeedback therapist that same year, and I now use it as the central tool in my practice.

I have completed both the general neurofeedback training and the advanced training in alpha-theta neurofeedback from EEG Spectrum. I continue to be an affiliate with that organization and to do ongoing education and consultation with neurofeedback therapists around the world. I have also helped several other neurofeedback therapists get started in their practices.

I have a Ph.D. in Psychology and an M.S. in Nutrition, and I love working in the space that bridges mental and physical health. I have taught Psychology, Health, Nutrition, and Sexuality at The Evergreen State College, Antioch University, Goddard College, and the Seattle Midwifery School.

I have a black belt in Aikido, and I regularly practice yoga and mindfulness meditation. I also tend and eat from my large organic garden. I incorporate aspects of all of these practices into my work.

I identify primarily as a teacher and counselor, and I see neurofeedback as a learning process that you and I use together to support your health and life. I especially like working with clients who want to learn and do all they can to help themselves become healthier.

If what I offer seems to fit with your needs, please contact me. I look forward to talking with you about how I might help you or your child.

Yours in good health,
